Erotic Fiction: The Pearl Trilogy by Arianne Richmonde
The Pearl Trilogy by Arianne Richmondeis the kind of erotic fiction I can’t get enough of. If you are looking for the antidote for the Fifty Shades of Grey series than this book trilogy is especially for you! I loved these 3 books. Both characters were extremely likable and I especially enjoyed the chemistry between these two!
The series is all about Pearl Robinson (yes she is called Ms. Robinson), a beautiful and successful film producer in her forties who hooks up with a handsome and charming billionaire fifteen years younger than her. He’s called Alexandre Chevalier, and he made his fortune co-founding an online co with his sister, Sophie. Pearl and Alexandre hit it off immediately after meeting in a coffee shop.
You’ll love the series too if you believe a woman doesn’t have to be in her early twenties to find love and passion.
The main attraction here is that Pearl is so true to life. Many reviewers on Amazon and elsewhere say she goes through the same life struggles we all talk about with our own girlfriends. What a change from the twenty year old virgins in other erotic novels. They make it look like acquiring a life partner and a high powered career is about as easy as ordering a salad.
As for Alexandre I found him so sexy. Are there any men out there really like him I kept asking myself? Alexandre is an alpha male who is just so hot and yet he also has respect and consideration for his woman. Such a relief to read erotica where the sex is steamy and there is not any overtly kinky and bdsm themes to be had!
The relationship between Pearl and Alexandre is all the more poignant because it helps her to recover from a disappointing first marriage. She awakens sexually and finds her true self. Richmonde knows how to write amazing sex scenes readers want and deliver an inspiring message for women of any age. Pearl has her insecurities, but she also has the strength to lead her own life instead of dwelling in the shadow of a strong male.
Before you start worrying that you don’t have time to read three books, let me assure you they all get finished way to quickly. The momentum never lets up. Forty Shades of Pearl, the first installment, starts out like a fairy tale. Things get darker in part two, Shadows of Pearl, and the cliffhanger ending will send you racing for the final installment, Shimmers of Pearl. The conclusion is very satisfying but not at all what you would expect.
